tightly integrated with the eCommerce platform, providing online
shoppers with the ability to access account information, wish lists,
order history and cart contents from either their PC or their handheld.
Items added to a cart on the eCommerce site are immediately visible via
handheld. Conversely, an account created on a handheld is accessible
through the traditional, browser-based experience.
From a merchandising and promotions perspective, changes made in the
site administrative tool related to promotions, the product catalog,
cross sells, coupons, and sorting rules are immediately inherited by
the mobile application, allowing retailers to merchandise both the Web
and mobile without any additional effort.
