As CFO, Mr. Hammond is responsible for the finance function within Ignition Commerce to include all financial planning & management. Mr. Hammond brings to Ignition over 11 years of experiences in all areas of finance, business development & operations. Prior to Ignition, Mr. Hammond held management positions with web-channel outsourcer Accretive Commerce prior to its sale in August 2007 to GSI Commerce. In his role with Accretive, Mr. Hammond created business intelligence tools used across the organization, redefined operational processes and developed new value propositions within the front end, fulfillment, call center & IT business units. Prior to joining Accretive, Mr. Hammond held several management roles with Sitel Corporation, a $1.5 billion business process outsourcer, where he led the spin-off of the fulfillment services group that was sold to Innotrac in 2006. In his role as CFO of Sitel’s Fulfillment Services Division, Mr. Hammond was charged with operational analytics, financial reporting, pricing, new client implementations & contracts/service level agreements. He, also, led the consolidation of 3 fulfillment centers with a fixed cost improvement of $6 million annually. Mr. Hammond has earned his BS in accounting & MBA from the University of Alabama.
