Recognizing the economic opportunity
that the channel presents and the increasingly competitive nature of
online retailing, Ignition Commerce understands that simply maintaining
an eCommerce presence, with little consideration given to
functionality, merchandising, and promotion, will not translate to
continued growth. Online consumers are much savvier than in the past,
and merchants are now obligated to provide their consumers with a
feature rich, personalized, and convenient shopping experience. As a
result, the Empower platform includes robust baseline storefront
functionality, including several Rich Internet, or Web 2.0
enhancements, which is reflective of the collective experiences, and
ultimately the requirements, of our diverse and industry leading client
base. Additionally, understanding that Empower represents the
productizing of an ATG and Demandware implementation, Ignition Commerce
works very closely with both partners to ensure that the platform
utilizes each partner’s prescribed best practices and is consistent
with their product roadmap. For example, Empower has been integrated
with newer ATG products including Integrated Customer Service, Commerce
Search, Marketing Campaign Management, and Business Analytics.
