Serving as Chief Operating Officer, David Ellin is responsible for integrating the business strategy into the day-to-day operations of Ignition Commerce by constituting and managing the people, processes, and systems required to run smoothly now and as the company grows. Primary responsibilities include oversight of the various operating units within Ignition Commerce including Project Management, IT, and Client Services.

Prior to joining Ignition Commerce, David has been providing executive management and consultative services in the areas of operations, sales and marketing.

In 2006, David retired from Innotrac Corporation after nearly 21 years serving in a variety of positions including Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, and Senior Vice President – Client Services & Marketing. Innotrac is an industry leading eCommerce, catalog, and direct response product fulfillment, customer care, and IT services company with over 1.600 employees in 10 US locations. David was instrumental in leading Innotrac’s organizational and brand development efforts, expanding Innotrac’s national footprint of facilities (to over 2.5 million square feet), driving Innotrac’s sales and marketing efforts, participating in Innotrac’s IPO, and paving the way towards Innotrac’s ISO 9001 quality certification.

Prior to Innotrac, David managed print advertising sales and product distribution for 3M//Media Network’s Where Magazine – Atlanta. David began his career with Paymaster Checkwriter Company where he served in administrative and sales management positions.
 
On the personal side, David Ellin is a native New Yorker who has been living in Atlanta since 1973. He is a graduate of the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia. David is very active in the metro-Atlanta community. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Congregation B’nai Torah for 12 years and served as President of the Board of Trustees for two of those years. David recently began his 19th year as a volunteer youth sports coach. David has been married to his wife, Mindy, for 29 years and has three children.
