business development, and the management of all strategic
relationships, including technology providers Demandware and ATG.
Carroll has spent the entire 20 + years of his professional life
working within the retail and apparel industries, with the past 10
focused on providing eCommerce solutions, services, and infrastructure
for retailers and branded manufacturers.
Prior to the founding of Ignition Commerce in October of 07, Carroll
served as the SVP of Business Development for Accretive Commerce. In
this role, Carroll determined general & client specific business
acquisition strategies and maintained ultimate responsibility over new
client sales cycles. After returning to client acquisition from
eCommerce operations in mid-March 07, Accretive Commerce won five new

role, Carroll served as Senior Vice President & General Manager, of
Accretive Commerce’s eCommerce division. As the conceptual founder of
Accretive’s eCommerce strategy, Carroll provided ultimate oversight and
P&L responsibility for all eCommerce related client & potential
client relationships, strategic direction, product development, and
product delivery. Initially serving as VP of Business Development at
NewRoads, Carroll was responsible for the development of the Accretive
Commerce eCommerce strategy, strategic partnership with ATG, and the
acquisition of the first five clients to leverage the new Accretive
eCommerce platform. In these efforts, Carroll leveraged significant
experience and a diverse background in apparel, retail, outsourced
logistics, eCommerce, and web based marketing. Prior to NewRoads,
Carroll served as Director of Business Development at ClientLogic and
Innotrac, two national providers of outsourced customer and technical
support, and fulfillment services.
From 1999 to 2002, Carroll served as the Founder and President of
Interactive Apparel, a turn-key eCommerce service provider focused on
the apparel and media verticals. In his tenure at Interactive Apparel,
Carroll was responsible for corporate strategic direction, capital
raising, client acquisition, and development of marketing programs and
strategic alliances on his client’s behalf. Carroll personally closed
15 exclusive, multi-year contracts with branded apparel manufacturers
ranging from $50 M to $500 M in annual wholesale revenue and led the
company from conceptual inception to a multi-Million dollar service
provider.
